JMA gets Andrew Bolt to conceded that ABC reporters did not mention “Muslim” faith

Andrew Bolt Concedes Faith Not Mentioned

24 August 2013

On July 22, 2013, Andrew Bolt wrote in an opinion piece that the “ABC’s Papua New Guinea correspondent, Liam Cochrane, on Saturday reported unease over the Rudd Government’s plan to send Muslim boat people to them instead.” JMA wrote to Mr Bolt to query the accuracy of the quote. Neither of the two ABC reporters in his article mentioned the word “Muslim” or referred to any religion other than Christianity. Mr Bolt conceded that the faith was not mentioned arguing that that was what “the reporters had in mind.” [Link]
